Treasury Management

DAO treasuries hold the shared resources of the organization. Major DeFi DAOs control billions in assets. Treasury management involves: diversification (don't hold 100% of the native token), spending proposals (grants, contributor compensation, partnerships), yield generation (deploying idle assets in DeFi), and risk management. Timelocks ensure a delay between proposal passing and execution, allowing members to exit if they disagree. Multi-sig wallets (like Safe) are often used alongside governance for quick operational decisions.
